This little thing is ingenious! How many of you have pins or brooches that you just don't wear either because they might put a hole in your sweater/blouse or they've gotten buried in your jewelry box? That's what happened to me. But this little gadget is the perfect solution. I just bought a beautiful brooch when I was on vacation and I would love to wear it around a heavy chain. Problem solved! I got this converter and slipped it on that brooch and it looks GORGEOUS on a chain or braided leather. Ladies, you can't go wrong for the money! I'm digging out all my old pins and can't wait to wear them!

3rd Customer Review : Pin Converter Extremely Limited Use
A Pin/brooch converter is a great concept but this particular design just doesn't work well, except in a very few, limited situations. I have a large collection of pins and tried this on 20 different pins. First, the converter tube slides horizontally on the brooch pin - unless it just happens to be almost the same length as the horizontal tube. The workaround for this would be to place two rubber earring backs on either end of the tube to keep it in place - but you have to have the right size rubber backings or the tube will go right over them. Second, and most important, the pins flip over. Of the pins I tested (various sizes and shapes), 18 flipped over. The brooch pin was most frequently placed in the middle of the pin, so the weight of the pin just flips it right over. But even in the half-dozen cases where the brooch needle was closer to the top of the brooch, the pin still flipped over.
