1st Customer Review : Love this little tool
What can I say? I love this product! We used to use this in a costume shop I worked in, so when I costume designed another show, I had to have it. The show took place in the 1880s, and I ended up making about 35 vests for men and a few women. I was SO glad I had this to cut the TONS AND TONS of button holes we made. It was so much easier than trying to do it with a pair of scissors or a seam ripper.

2nd Customer Review : Does the job, use a soft wood to punch on
I got this opener for shirt buttonholes. Overall it works great, there are much higher cost buttonhole sets with included punch blocks and wood handles but this gets the job done. I've done 2 shirts on this tool and so far the blade is still super sharp, just be sure to use a nice wood block underneath, i prefer a soft wood so i can hear when the punch has made it all the way through the fabric.
